There is an unfortunate divide in our country right now surrounding the American flag and Star-Spangled Banner.
Millions of citizens believe the professional athletes protesting the injustices minorities face in the U.S. by kneeling or raising a fist during the national anthem in pre-game ceremonies is their right under the First Amendment.

The flip side is that millions of people feel that what these athletes are doing is disrespecting the country, military, and American flag.
It’s a divide that has been widening in recent weeks as the 2017-18 NFL began last month.

The debate will likely continue to wage on and that isn’t necessarily a bad thing; Frederick Douglas once said:
“If there is no struggle, there is no progress.”
Two little boys in Florida know exactly what side of the debate they are on and the footage of them with the American flag will send chills down your spine.
