Couple With Down Syndrome Marry In Magical Ceremony, Complete With Unicorns And Singing Waiters

Surrounded by 200 of their closest friends and family, Polly and Joe celebrated the union of their love in one of the most magical wedding ceremonies ever witnessed. The lovebirds, who have Down syndrome, met eight years ago in college in the UK, saying it was love at first sight. Now, eight years later, Polly and Joe were able to share the love they have for each other in a showstopping wedding ceremony that felt like it was straight out of movie.

No detail was overlooked when it came time to planning the event. Polly and Joe wanted to have a “festival theme,” complete with wildflowers, multicolored balloons, and waiters singing Frank Sinatra-era songs. Their cake had a magical feel as well and was dusted with sprinkles and their names across it.

Her white dress with vintage lilac details was a showstopper, and the two exchanged antique rings crafted from vintage silver tongs. They danced the night away to tunes by Abba and songs from the smash hit movie, Moulin Rouge.
