Most parents will tell you that they weren’t the biggest fans when their kids were in their “terrible twos” stage.
That period of time in a child’s life, where they are learning about the world and what boundaries they can cross to what consequence, can cause a lot of headaches and heartaches.
But the Mata’s are thankful for their two naughty little angels!
Thank you too everyone for the support!! The girls and I are very thankful!
Their twin daughters, Faith and Hope, were born conjoined at the chest.
Elysse and Eric Mata found out about the dangerous manner in which the girls were conjoined during a routine ultrasound but put their faith in God that He would do what was best.
Hi every one I know it's been a while since I have posted an update but I was waiting to hear anything about the tissue…
The girls were born nine weeks early, but totally healthy, despite being connected at their chest wall, lungs, pericardial sac (the lining of the heart), diaphragm, liver, intestines, colon, and pelvis.
Friends & Family! If you haven't made your donation to this amazing cause, I truly encourage you to consider doing so….
“It was heaven on earth, just to be able to hold them so close to me,” Elysse said. “Everybody talks about when they see their baby, they don’t count their toes, they just see a baby… I just saw two miracle angels laying there, peacefully sleeping.”
Those little miracles aren’t sleeping as much anymore!
