The Marine Vet Who Stole A Truck To Save Las Vegas Shooting Victims Gets A Huge Payout!

The events that transpired at the Route 91 Harvest festival in Las Vegas are still fresh on the mind of all Americans and will be for a very long time as people are still trying to come to grips with what happened that Sunday night. To date, 59 lives were lost and over 500 more people were injured.

It’s unimaginable how many more lives would have been lost if not for the acts of bravery from other concert-goers, first responders, hotel employees, friends, and complete strangers.

One of those heroes is Taylor Winston, the former Marine who was attending the Route 91 Harvest festival with his girlfriend and a few other friends when the shooting began.

In recognition of a great man I once had the pleasure of serving with. Taylor Winston, you’re an outstanding example of what we should all strive to be in time of crisis.

Taylor served two tours in Iraq and reacted immediately. Instead of running from the venue, he began to assess the situation and saw a field nearby that had white work trucks staged.

On a whim, the first truck he tried to open wasn’t unlocked, but the keys were inside.

Taylor sprung into action before medical personnel even arrived on the scene, grabbing as many victims as they could and putting them in the truck to transport them to the nearest hospital.

Taylor went back and made another trip with more victims. He believes 20-30 victims were taken to the hospital by him, his friend, a stranger’s truck.

Taylor received a text message from the owner:

Taylor has been on many news and talk shows since and continues to insist he’s not a hero but the people he saved and their families probably disagree. One truck dealership certainly does.
