It’s Puppuccinos All Around – And A Chance At Adoption – For These Lovable Shelter Dogs

Everybody blames social media for everything. For misinformation. For exaggeration. For glorification and exploitation. But there is one area where the interconnectivity between individuals has seen a significant benefit. Head over to your Facebook feed. Do you see posts for animals looking to be adopted. From the daily updates and pictures/videos supplied by foster parents and no-kill shelters to individuals sharing their latest tale of adoption or rescue, social media is saving the lives of millions of strays every year.

Before, these poor creatures would have to wait until someone visited a shelter, or came across a flyer in a vet’s waiting room. Now, with the power of Twitter or Instagram, a dog or cat has a much better chance of being brought to a new forever home. Of course, you have to be a bit more unusual to stand out from the crowd. That’s why the Molly Clark of the Kitsap Humane Society in Washington is using the world wide web, and a dog’s natural love of a Puppuccino (a small cup of whipped cream – yum) to brighten the animal’s day and get people to notice them. And it’s working. Just check out the adorable gallery below.
